BURLINGTON, Mass.– 128 Technology, the leader in Session Smart routing, today announced that Tom Nolle has joined the company’s Technical Advisory Board. With over 30 years of experience in telecommunications and networking technology, Nolle will help shape the company’s strategic direction and application of the 128T Networking Platform to address business needs.
Nolle has been an independent consultant since 1979 and CEO of CIMI Corporation since 1982. He regularly publishes reports with analysis on technology, market and economic conditions. He has been involved in standards development for decades, and serves as chief strategist for ExperiaSphere, designing and developing an open model for management and orchestration of cloud, software-defined networking (SDN), Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) and legacy network assets.
“SD-WAN is the most important technology trend in the market,” Nolle said. “It completely redefines the way we view not only VPNs, but also the way we see network services overall. 128 Technology has the only SD-WAN provider whose features fully support this critical service evolution, and I’m very pleased to serve on the 128 Technology Advisory Board.”
The 128T Networking Platform expands network security capabilities and improves application performance while simplifying operations and dramatically reducing cost. The 128 Technology Session Smart SD-WAN solution is easy to deploy, transport agnostic and creates a secure, Session Smart fabric for customers.
“As adoption of the 128T Networking Platform increases through our work with partners and customers, Tom’s experience and vision in next generation network design and planning will be a great asset,” said Ritesh Mukherjee, Vice President of Product Management at 128 Technology. “We are making great progress in our realization of software and cloud-based solutions to transform networking, and we look forward to close collaboration with Tom on our strategic roadmap and product development.”
Nolle is the latest expert to join the 128 Technology Technical Advisory Board, following the February 2018 addition of Dino Farinacci and Shawn Zandi, supporting the company in making networking more simple, agile and cost-effective.
